Volunteers in Canbury Gardens
A CARA has a long history of voluntary work, organising work in the Gardens (litter-picking, bulb-planting, wild-flower seeding, etc.). If you would like help getting involved in any of these activities please contact us.
The disused gardeners' yard (see photo) in Canbury Gardens was re-purposed as a community garden by CARA members - growing vegetables, and herbs. This has developed into a highly successful, independent Canbury Community Garden (see photo).

CARA is signed up to the London Friends of Greenspace Network (LFGN), the London network for Friends and User Groups of all green open spaces, and attends some of its meetings.
