Next summer, in the warm weather, there will be some excellent Sunday bandstand concerts in Canbury Gardens.

They were so well received in 2022 by large numbers of visitors, including the Mayor and Mayoress together with their friends, that the Council has awarded the Friends of Canbury Bandstand a substantial grant for 2023.

The committee of FOCB want it to go towards:-

Improved marshalling - that means more seating

​

Better marketing - that means more sponsors (leading to the Friends being self-financing)

​

An even better programme of music (although last year's will be hard to beat!).
