Thursday 17th October 2024: 6.30 for 7.00 pm.

Notice of the AGM 2023/2024 for Canbury and Riverside Association   

Doors open at 6.30pm for refreshments before AGM business begins at 7.00pm.

All are welcome, but only CARA members may vote.

At about 7.30, when AGM business is finished, there will be a talk -

David Garrick: his life, his times and his Temple

by Ellis Jones, for many years a senior director at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art

AGM business AGENDA

1. Welcome and apologies for absence

2. Appointment of two volunteer tellers

3. Minutes of the previous year’s AGM on 12th October 2023: for formal approval

4. CARA through 2023/2024 (a brief presentation of the highlights)

5. Treasurer’s Report and Accounts: for formal approval

6. CARA Committee: for the election and re-election of members

7. Any other business

Matters where a vote will be taken.      

1. To approve the minutes of CARA AGM on 12th October 2023:

  2.  To approve the Accounts for the year to 31st August 2024:

   Hard copies will be available at the AGM.

  3. To approve the election of CARA Committee Members.
